Chipboard/cardboard buildings
Design and build a cardboard/chipboard structure.
The structure must be at least 12 inches wide on one side. You can determine the other side and the overall height.
Elements on the building must be proportional to each other.
The building needs three-dimensional elements on its exterior. Will you have awnings? Porches? Stairs? Other?
Must have three-dimensional texture on the exterior of the building. The building will need details on its surface – Will you use shingles? Wood planks? Window casings? Other?
All building elements need to be firmly attached. White glue can be used to attach small elements because it will allow you time to rearrange your detailed objects.

Steps for creating a cardboard/chipboard building.
1. Decide what type of building you'd like to make.
2. Draw a rough draft of the pieces of your building or a blueprint. The examples below are for gingerbread houses. They have figured out the math first. Remember the requirements:

3. Draw the final draft onto cardboard. Use the math that you devised in your rough draft.
4. Cut out your cardboard shapes.
5. Attach the parts of your building with tape, glue and/or hot glue. Some methods for attaching cardboard together are shown below.

6. Attach exterior elements:
